It's easy to say "wellness week"....A San Lorenzo della Rabatta we supplement the expression with "oasis of forgetfulness," " magical flashes of surprise," "spontaneous and unfathomable love," "freedom to feel, to be, to respect, to experience," "laughing and smiling in parallel march," "eating and enjoying with care," "breathing enchantments." Do we exaggerate, invent, amplify? Never. Sometimes we cannot even explain how warm, simple feelings of closeness, of absolute distance from judgment, are self-fracturing tensions and self-powering. One suspects that Paola and her suspensions from clichés, standards and homologations...one suspects that she has a strange power of which she, for one, does not visualize the extent. But we like so much to do yoga morning and evening in the gazebo, to go together in the woods with lights and silences bordering on the real, to walk at night and play during the day, to sit in every corner where everything is host, everything is relaxation, everything is encounter but also a little less or a little more: the alpha and the omega is just what you want. Then one plays with "special" cards and laughs, smiles and reflects faintly, goes to the pool and its greenery, lets oneself sway in the raft of massages you will not easily forget, and at the end of the week one finally leaves each other physically. But beware, that goodbye is only a beginning. Once again and without being able to explain anything to ourselves, we feel as rich as ever and we only wish to transfer that richness into our lives. And, of course, we long to return to Paola. She complements each year with new and precipitous activities, always a little different, always interesting and sweet, always functional to oblivion and by golly, great paradox, always functional to the rebuilding of our feeling and choices. It's easy to say "wellness week."
